Moments Matter More

As an award-winning documentary wedding photographer, I will specialise in documenting all the real, natural and spontaneous moments from your wedding day.
I won’t direct or instruct, interfere or impose myself on the proceedings. Instead, I’ll blend in, remain unobtrusive and document your wedding day moments as they unfold and really happen. It’s your wedding day as it really is. Your unique wedding story.
Weddings are fun, joyful, happy, crazy, funny, chaotic, emotional, quirky, unpredictable and always unique. I’ll document all these moments and more, rather than create and stage something that isn’t true to you or your day.
I’ll do this discreetly and unobtrusively. So you can relax and enjoy celebrating your wedding day completely stress-free.

Getting Ready
Nothing beats the exciting anticipation of the wedding day morning. This is the time I document a whole range of emotions, from laughter to tears, excitement to nerves.

Getting Married
The serious part of the day, the getting hitched bit. It’s why we’re all here, right? I’ll be seeking out those little looks, the gestures, the teary eye and the reassuring smiles.

Getting Posed
Even though 99% of my approach is natural and documentary, I’ll still shoot some more traditional and posed portraits and group shots for you. After all, your Aunty or Grandparents will most probably want one or two for the old mantelpiece.

Getting Showered & Toasted
Those in between moments after getting married and before your first dance. The nerves after the ceremony are gone and the celebrations begin to take hold. Confetti is thrown, toasts are raised and moments aplenty for an observational documentary photographer like me.

Getting Sliced & Spliced
Cutting the wedding cake and the coming together for the first dance (or even ‘last dance’ with respective parent) are two big wedding traditions which form an important part of your wedding story.
